The poker at 5h5h was built with one clear premise: to offer an honest, smooth, and accessible experience for Brazilian players. Whether you're just getting started in Texas Hold'em or you've been grinding cash games for years — there's a table at the right level and the right bankroll for you here.
The 5h5h lobby runs 24 hours a day. That means at 3 AM, when you want to squeeze in a cash game session after a long day, the tables are full. Brazil's online poker crowd is naturally nocturnal — and the platform was built for exactly that, with enough table capacity so no one is ever waiting for a seat.
One detail that makes a real difference for regular players is the rake structure. The 5h5h charges one of the lowest rake rates in the Brazilian market — 4.5% with a cap that varies by table stakes. For regular players, that accumulated saving over the course of a month makes a real difference to the bottom line. VIP Diamond Program members get access to tables with even lower rake, particularly at mid and high stakes.
Texas Hold'em is by far the most popular format in Brazil — and for good reason. The structure of two hole cards and five community cards creates a dynamic where skill, player-reading, and bankroll management all come together in a balanced way. It's simple enough to pick up in an afternoon, yet complex enough to spend a lifetime mastering.
At 5h5h, Texas Hold'em is available in No-Limit format — meaning you can bet any amount at any time — across tables ranging from micro stakes (R$ 0.50/R$ 1.00) to higher stakes for experienced players. For beginners, there's a free interactive tutorial on the platform that walks you through the rules, hand rankings, and table positions. You don't need to know how to play to sign up — you can learn as you go.
For many players, MTT (Multi-Table Tournaments) are the heart of poker. The concept is straightforward: you pay a fixed buy-in, receive a starting chip stack, and play until you bust out or make it to the final table. Prize money is distributed among the top finishers — and when there's a "guaranteed" prize pool, that minimum is locked in regardless of how many players register.
The 5h5h runs guaranteed prize pool tournaments every day, with the highlight being the Sunday Tournament — the biggest of the week, with R$ 50,000.00 guaranteed and a R$ 50.00 buy-in. For those who don't want to risk the direct buy-in, there are satellites: smaller tournaments where the prize is a seat in the main event. For R$ 5.00 to R$ 10.00, you can secure a spot in a tournament with prizes reaching tens of thousands of BRL.
The 5h5h tournament calendar includes themed events throughout the year — special tournaments during Carnival, public holidays, and commemorative dates, always with higher-than-usual guaranteed prize pools. VIP Program members get access to exclusive freerolls: free-entry tournaments with real-money prizes, available only to club members.
Sit & Go tournaments start as soon as the required number of players registers — usually 6, 9, or 18. No fixed schedule, no long waits: once the last seat is filled, the game begins. That makes this format ideal for players with limited time who still want the thrill of a real prize pool tournament.
At 5h5h, Sit & Go tables run at various buy-in levels throughout the day. Most tables fill up in under 20 minutes, and the turbo format speeds up blind levels so each tournament runs between 45 and 90 minutes. It's an excellent way to sharpen late-game skills — stack reading, bubble strategy, and heads-up play — without having to commit hours at a stretch.
Diamond members get access to reduced-rake tables, exclusive freerolls, and weekly cashback on fees paid.

In case of a tie, the player holding the highest-value cards within the combination wins.
Six fundamental concepts that make a difference from your very first sessions.
Being "in position" — acting after your opponents — is one of the biggest advantages in poker. You get to see what they do before making your decision. Early on, play more hands when you're on the button or close to it.
For cash game, the recommended approach is to have at least 20 buy-ins for the stakes you're playing. If you're sitting at a R$ 2.00/R$ 4.00 table with a maximum buy-in of R$ 400.00, keep R$ 8,000.00 dedicated to poker before moving up in stakes.
One of the most common beginner mistakes is playing too many hands preflop. Start by selecting strong holdings — pairs, suited connectors, suited Ax — and fold the weak ones without hesitation. Folding isn't weakness; it's strategy.
Tilt is when emotions start affecting your game — after a bad beat, for example. Learn to recognize when it's happening and step away. On 5h5h, you can leave a cash game table at any time.
Poker is a game of controlled aggression. Passively calling without a good reason is one of the most common mistakes. When you have a strong hand, bet with size. When you bluff, bet with conviction. Half of poker is telling the right story.
At the 5h5h tables, you're playing against real people with real tendencies. Pay attention to how many hands each player sees the flop with, how they bet on the turn, and when they fold. That information is worth more than any single card.
Online poker has grown significantly in Brazil over recent years. With the rise of streamers and content creators broadcasting live sessions, more and more Brazilians are discovering the depth of the game — and looking for platforms where they can play safely, in BRL, via Pix. The 5h5h was built exactly for this audience.
Unlike international platforms that operate with currency conversion, everything on 5h5h runs in BRL. Deposit R$ 100.00 via Pix and see R$ 100.00 in your poker account — no conversion fees, no waiting. When you win and want to withdraw, it's just as simple: request the withdrawal, confirm via Pix, and within 5 minutes the money is in your Nubank, Itaú, Bradesco, or any other Brazilian bank account.
This fast deposit-and-withdrawal cycle is essential for anyone who takes poker seriously. Bankroll management is a core part of any professional or semi-professional player's strategy — and having immediate access to your funds, without red tape, lets you make better decisions about when to move up or down in stakes, which tournaments to enter, and when to take a break.
A large share of Brazilian poker sessions happen on mobile — during a work break, on the couch at night, or waiting in line. The 5h5h poker client was built to run flawlessly on mobile, with an interface tailored for smaller screens without sacrificing any functionality. Cards are clearly visible, betting buttons are large enough to avoid misclicks, and animations are lightweight so the app stays smooth even on a 4G connection.
For those who prefer playing on a desktop, the desktop version supports multi-tabling — playing at more than one table at the same time. This is common among regular cash game and Sit & Go players, and 5h5h supports up to four tables open simultaneously on the desktop version.
One of the best ways to get started in online poker without risking much money is through freerolls — free tournaments with real cash prizes. At 5h5h, freerolls are available to all new users during the first 30 days after registration. It's a great way to get comfortable with the platform, test strategies in real tournament conditions, and gradually build a small bankroll without making an initial deposit.
Satellites are another smart option. Instead of paying a R$ 50.00 direct buy-in to the Sunday Tournament, you can enter a satellite for R$ 5.00 to R$ 10.00 and compete for a seat. If skill or luck gets you through, you play in the main event with R$ 50,000.00 guaranteed at a fraction of the cost. That value proposition is exactly what makes satellites so popular among players of all levels at 5h5h.
On top of that, the 100% welcome bonus on your first deposit — available to all new users — can be used at the poker tables. Deposit R$ 200.00 via Pix and play with R$ 400.00, giving you much more room to explore the different formats on the platform before settling into your favorite.
Beyond poker, 5h5h offers Sports Betting with competitive odds on the Brasileirão, Copa do Brasil, and much more.

"I played on several platforms before 5h5h, and what kept me here was Pix. I cash out on a Friday night and the money hits my account in minutes — no waiting 3 business days. For anyone who plays cash game regularly, that changes everything."
"I started at the 5h5h welcome freeroll without depositing a single cent. Within two weeks I'd built up a BRL 80.00 bankroll playing micro stakes. Then I made my first deposit and never looked back. The learning curve on the platform is really gentle."
"The 5h5h Sunday Tournament with R$ 50,000.00 guaranteed is the highlight of my week. I can enter through the R$ 5.00 satellite and I've qualified three times already. The blind structure is solid and the field is very beatable."
